Qigong

Qigong is perhaps the most effective way to achieve robust health & fitness while cultivating your life force called Qi – pronounced “chee” – also known by other terms such as Ki, Prana, or Ruach in other traditions.

Qigong involves flowing body movements combined with breath & awareness to create a holistic practice. Qigong literally means “energy work” or “life force skill achieved with practice over time.”

Qigong is suitable for people of all ages, but is especially appropriate for seniors or people with any physical challenges. It is easy to learn and easy to practice, especially when beginning with a knowledgeable teacher. It builds on a basic foundation and layers increasing depth on top of that.

Tai Chi / Tai Ji, which are perhaps more well-known names and were originally practiced as martial arts (or more modernly as health arts), use the basics of Qigong to create their systems.
